Arguably the best sim racing title on the market right now, Assetto Corsa Competizione is set to make a bang when it arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

While not arriving until February 2022, Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games are not shying away from just what they are bringing to console racers.

A living world

Dynamic weather is something plenty of games boast, but often that just means it will go from dry to wet or vice versa in a game. The degrees of change can be drastic rather than subtle. Not with Kunos and ACC.

Weather will go from ominous clouds to drizzle and full rain, asking drivers to read the conditions overhead as well as the road when planning their stints.

There is also a fully progressive day-night cycle coming to the game, upgrading the current model that already creates atmospheric endurance racing.

This along with the tease of new tracks and cars coming in 2022 means ACC will remain a must-own for racers well into the future.

Assetto Corsa Competizione PS5 release date

The new world of ACC arrives on 24 February 2022.

The game will boast 4K, 60fps for both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S and give players free private multiplayer lobbies as well.

The Day One Edition will come with the 2020 GT World Challenge Pack DLC, but those who already have ACC on console will be able to upgrade to the next-gen version for free.
