Assetto Corsa Mobile released: Platforms, modes, cars, & more!

Assetto Corsa is undoubtedly one of the defining sims of the current generation, and its younger brother, Assetto Corsa Competizione, continues to impress as well.

However, the team at 505 Games has now made the transition to mobile.

Assetto Corsa Mobile is out now, so let's take a look at it and what players can expect from the pocket-sized sim racer!

Platforms & price

The game is out now for iOS devices, the iPhone and the iPad, and will set you back $4.99.

This means the game won't be launching yet for Android devices, or the Switch, but who knows. The nature of the game coming to mobile in the first place means it could happen.

So, if you're feeling left in the dark with your Samsung, don't worry, as there is hope for us still!

Modes

Assetto Corsa Mobile will launch with a variety of ways for you to play whilst on the move.

These include Practice, Classic Race, Time Attack, Endurance, Overtake, and Speed Camera.

Each of the modes also lends itself to helping you master your technique and hone your skills. Naturally, Practice is also good for this, but once you;ve got the basics down and nailed, it's time to branch out.

Cars & tracks

We don't yet have a full car list for the game, but we do know that 505 Games partnered with the likes of Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Maserati to ensure realism and variety.

This means players should have everything they need to play the way they want to, and ensure that the experience is a good one.

There are 59 from 18 manufacturers officially licensed vehicles in the game from today, but this may increase with future updates. Likewise, there are 9 laser-scanned circuits, with night and day variations and dynamic weather.

All in all, you should have a unique racing experience each and every time.

Controls

Finally, the game has been created by developer Digital Tales, which means it is perfectly created for mobile use.

There are multiple options, including tilt functionality, touchpad controls, and acceleration assist.

One thing is for certain, the game will be perfect for those new to mobile gaming and sim racers alike.
