Farming Simulator 22 is finally here and we're having a lot of fun with it! There are lot of features that aren't obvious to get the most out of though, such as buying and selling land in-game. Expanding or downsizing are great ways to go about optimising your harvests.
So, how do you buy and sell land in Farm Sim 22? We've got everything you need to know right here!
If things are going well and you think you can take on some more fields for your farm, buying new land is essential to growth. After all, you can only have so much yield from a set amount of land, but increasing this increases your potential revenue.
If you're on PC, press the escape button (Esc) to go into the map screen. From there, you press X to highlight the areas of the map which you own in blue. All those in brown aren't owned by you, but you can purchase them for a price. If you have enough money, go ahead and add it to your portfolio by pressing the space bar and confirming.
Be sure to only buy land that's next to land you already own. Otherwise, you'll face an annoying journey to get from one area to the other.
Selling is similar to this in that you choose an area you own and press the back space key to sell the land. Be aware that you won't make a loss when selling land compared to buying it, so doing so doesn't lose you money, in a sense.
