rFactor 2 adds Daytona International Speedway

rFactor 2 has been among sim racing royalty for a while now.

One of the most popular sims for both amateurs and professionals, it recently hosted the Virtual 24h of Le Mans and it looks like plans for other events are increasing as the epic Daytona International Speedway is finally getting added to the game.

Studio 397 has constantly been updating and innovating rFactor 2. A new UI was recently added to the game and now Daytona is coming.

The track is a true favourite for racers of every persuasion and has been a request for rFactor 2 for a long, long time.

The developers were clearly paying attention and have been working away in the background as the track is finally coming to the game.

Release date

Unfortunately, Studio 397 has not given a specific release date for the track just yet. There is only a "coming soon" label which is a shame. However, we are willing to wait given the usual quality of rFactor 2.

It's not just the Road Course that is coming to the game, as the Speedway layout will also land in the game. That course is just right for Stock Car action as well as other endurance events.

With the addition of this track we expect to see 24h of Daytona event on rFactor 2 at some point this year to get more battling between Max Verstappen, esports stars, and YouTuber racers.
