Gran Turismo 7: Find Your Line trailer shows new gameplay and immersive DualSense features

With the release now just 36 days away and counting, the marketing campaign for Gran Turismo 7 is shifting into high gear.

After the last gameplay video gave us a tour of Daytona, Sony has dropped a new GT7 trailer titled “Find Your Line.” While it doesn’t reveal any new information, it’s a reminder that one of this year’s most anticipated racing games is fast approaching. We also get a few snippets of new gameplay footage to whet our appetite.

The 36-second-long trailer mixes gameplay and live-action footage, showing how GT7 will be the most realistic and immersive game in the series yet. It highlights how the PS5 DualSense controller technology allows you to “lose yourself in the road beneath you.”

Adaptive triggers simulate the feel of the brakes locking up, while haptic feedback allows you to feel the road surface, adding a new layer of realism.

As the trailer demonstrates, GT7 also supports 3D audio, allowing you to hear the engines roar as cars fly past you for an immersive experience. No new cars are shown in the trailer, but we get to see the Lamborghini Huracan GT3, Porsche 917 and McLaren MP4-12C in action.

The trailer also showcases some single-seater racing action, with what appears to be the Dallara SF19 Super Formula returning from Gran Turismo Sport.

We also get a brief glimpse of GT7’s Scapes photo mode with ray-tracing effects allowing for more realistic lighting. The footage is captured from PS5, but we still haven’t seen any GT7 PS4 gameplay yet.

Gran Turismo 7 release date

We’re only just over a month away from the release of GT7. As a reminder, GT7 releases on 4 March for PS4 and PS5, so there’s still time to book time off work and cancel your social plans. With the trailer reaffirming the release date, there hopefully won't be any more delays.
