A new downloadable car pack has arrived in RaceRoom and it includes a special racecar raced by none other than Jimmy Broadbent.
RaceRoom The Drivers Pack DLC
Available to download from the online RaceRoom store, The Drivers Pack DLC adds four track-focused cars to the PC racing simulation.
The new car pack includes the Mazda MX-5 Cup designed to compete in the Mazda MX-5 Cup racing series along with the high-performance Crossle 90F single-seater and the classic Crossle 9S sports racer.
Sim racing fans may also recognise the Praga R1. Affectionally known as "Goldie," this is the same car popular sim racing YouTuber Jimmy Broadbent drove to victory at this year’s Praga Cup Championship along with his teammate Gordie Mutch.
Built on a lightweight carbon fibre chassis, the Praga R1 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine from a Formula Renaultmaking 365 hp at 6,900 rpm.
In addition to these track toys, The Drivers Pack DLC also includes the challenging Circuit de Charade track based in the Auvergne region of central France.
With fast sweeping turns and sudden elevation changes, the Circuit de Charade will test the skills of seasoned sim racers. It’s not a circuit you see very often in racing games.
Price
The Drivers Pack DLC is available to download from the online RaceRoom store priced at £8.57. Each car can also be purchased separately for £2.99 with multiple liveries available.
Combined, The Drivers Pack DLC includes 79 liveries. Circuit de Charade can also be purchased separately for £4.29.
