F1 22 Brazil setup
Interlagos is a superb track and one that requires a good setup to really get the most from it. With the long back straight and winding middle sector it is something of an in-between circuit.
You need good rotation in the car but also a high top speed otherwise you will be a sitting duck!
Aerodynamics
We’ve gone for a low-wing setup in Brazil which sounds scary but is definitely the best way forward.
The 20-13 wings will provide plenty of top-speed for that long back straight and run to turn 4. Stability for the middle sector is provided elsewhere in the setup.

Transmission
This part of the setup is all about getting the power through the rear wheels and into the track.
We’ve gone for 55% on-throttle differential to give you more stability on corner-exit and better traction.
The 50% off-throttle differential provides extra rotation on turn-in as you bleed off the brakes.
Suspension geometry
The meta for suspension geometry is the same as in F1 2021.
That means our setup uses -2.50 for the front camber and -1.00 on the rear. For toe it is 0.05 on the front and 0.20 on the rear.
Suspension
This part of the setup can be highly personal based on your driving style.
The 4-1 suspension and 3-1 anti-roll bars provide a solid foundation for racing, with enough turn-in performance for the middle sector but the rear stability to flick through the Senna esses.
The 5-4 ride height keeps you slippy on the straights. There aren’t any big kerbs here so there’s no need to create ground clearance.
Brakes
Stopping power is a must, but lockups can be devastating for your tyre strategy.
We’ve gone with 100% brake pressure and 50% brake bias to provide maximum stopping power for the race.
If you do find you are locking up in practice then drop the brake pressure by a few clicks, don’t move the bias.
Tyres
The new 18” Pirelli tyres are a challenge this year.
We have had success with 22.5 psi on the front tyres and 21.5 psi on the rears.
