GT7 Weekly Challenges April 2024 Week 2

A new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges has arrived, giving players an opportunity to earn extra rewards. Week two of April’s Weekly Challenges sees the Plymouth Superbird return in another one-make Special event, before culminating in a high-stakes 800 PP race at Daytona.

Let’s dive into week two of Gran Turismo 7’s April Weekly Challenges.

GT7 Weekly Challenges April 2024 Week 2

GT7’s Weekly Challenges update at midnight local time on Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings depending on your time zone. You need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie to access them.

This week’s GT7 Weekly Challenges start on 12 April at midnight local time and end on 19 April at the same time.

European Sunday Cup 500

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya National Layout – 2 laps

This week’s challenges start with the traditional Sunday Cup, with a casual two-lap race at Barcelona. You’ll need to enter a European road car for this event but there’s no PP limit, so you can enter a Ferrari, Aston Martin, or Lamborghini and blitz this event to collect an easy 25,000 credits.

American FR Challenge 500

Watkins Glen – Short Course - 3 laps

The next event at the Watkins Glen Short Course pits you against a field of classic American sports cars. A front-engined American road car with rear-wheel drive is required for this race, but there’s no PP limit, with 32,000 credits on offer for victory.

Plymouth Superbird One-Make

Laguna Seca – 4 laps

This week, there’s another one-make Special Event, once again putting you behind the wheel of the Plymouth Superbird. This is the second time the iconic NASCAR racer has featured in the GT7 Weekly Challenges in only three weeks.

There are no tuning restrictions, hefty Superbird wasn’t built to tackle Laguna Seca’s tight turns and sweeping bends, so we don’t recommend increasing the performance. Winning this event will earn you 70,000 credits.

World Touring Car 600

Spa-Francorchamps – 4 laps

We’re off to Spa for the next challenge, which sees you competing in a four-lap race against 15 opponents at the legendary Belgian circuit. While you’ll be racing against sports cars like the second-generation Honda NSX and Subaru WRX STi, you can enter any car you like under 600 PP, with an 80,000 credit reward on offer for finishing in pole position. 

World Touring Car 800

Daytona Road Course – 20 laps

Last but not least, the final event is a gruelling 20-lap race at Daytona. With a high 800-PP limit, your opponents will be competitive. There is also an 8x fuel consumption and 12x tyre wear limit to contend with, so timing your pit stop will be essential.

You'll also need to fit Racing Hard tyres to be eligible. This is the most lucrative event of the lot, with a 154,000 credit prize for victory.

As for this week’s bonus rewards, completing one event wins you a 100,000 credit ticket, while completing three events rewards you with a 200,000 credit ticket. Completing all five events earns you a 500,000 credit ticket, so there are plenty of cash rewards to be won this week.

Don’t forget you only need to finish in third place or higher in each event to earn these rewards.
