Rocket League Season 6 kicked off a few weeks ago adding new game modes and rewards. Now, another content update has landed in the car football sensation.
Psyonix has partnered with manufacturers to add real cars to Rocket League over the years from the McLaren 765LT to the Aston Martin Valhalla. The latest licensed car coming to Rocket League is the spectacular 2022 Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4. And no, we’re not referring to the original Countach; the iconic poster car that adorned the walls of every teenage boy’s bedroom in the 1980s.
2022 Lamborghini Countach lands in Rocket League
Built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original Countach last year, the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is a new interpretation of the original 1980s supercar, blending retro styling with modern hybrid technology.
Limited to only 112 examples in real life, the Countach LPI 800-4 shares the same hybrid technology as the Lamborghini Sian. This means it’s powered by a 6.5-litre V12 and a 48-volt motor powered by a 600-amp supercapacitor for a total output of 802 hp.
All that power is sent to a seven-speed automatic gearbox, enabling the Countach LPI 800-4 to accelerate from 0-62 in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 221 mph.
In real-life, Countach LPI 800-4 cost around £2 million before it sold out, but will be easier to obtain in Rocket League - it can be yours for 1,100 credits.
It will only be available for a limited time from 30 March – 5 April, however, so don’t miss out.
