3 manufacturers we are unlikely to see in Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 is set to be the biggest Horizon festival yet if the car list is anything to go by.

Despite containing over 500 cars, there are a few brands we don't expect to see in the new game. Here's three manufacturers we wish would show up in Forza Horizon 5!

Citroën

This quirky French manufacturer seems to have cooled on racing games in recent years. Citroën dominated the WRC for over a decade but seem to have changed their marketing strategy as the motoring world moves towards electrification and their sub-brand DS launched.

I think this is a mistake, as games such as Forza Horizon 5 give automakers a chance to celebrate their heritage. Few have a history of innovation as Citroën does. Whether it's their pioneering work on monocoque body design, power-assisted steering, or of course their hydropneumatic suspension, this brand has plenty to boast about. We'd love Citroën to be added to Forza Horizon 5.

Isuzu

Bear with me here! Isuzu may not be the last word in performance but if you want a vehicle that can go everywhere, take your pick from their line-up. The D-Max would be completely at home on the rugged Mexican landscape of Forza Horizon 5.

The one I'd really like to see is the two-door '80s Isuzu Trooper. This car was rebadged for various markets as an Acura, Chevrolet, Holden, Honda, Opel, SsangYong, Subaru, and Vauxhall, so you might well know this car by a different name. Whatever the badge on the bonnet, the Trooper was a rival for cars such as the XJ Jeep Cherokee.

Rolls-Royce

One of the world's most prestigious marques, it's rare to find a Rolls-Royce in a racing game. This is a shame! Billionaire businessmen probably never thrash their beloved barges around the track, but wouldn't it be fun?

I don't see the harm in giving us the chance to play at being tycoons in the Horizon world. We'd love to experience the power and beauty of these hand-built British creations.
