Start your rigs, the latest DLC for American Truck Simulator has been delivered. The Nebraska DLC is now available to all truckers, along with the new Sports Paint Jobs Pack to add some style to your trucks.
The Cornhusker State
Nebraska, otherwise known as the Cornhusker or 37th State, is now available to drive as part of the Nebraska DLC. Nebraskan landmarks such as Carhenge, the Archway Monument, and McConaughy Lake can be visited, adding a unique flavor to the game.
12 explorable cities have also been added, including Lincoln, Omaha, and Grand Island. New industries are located within or around each city, with some of Nebraska’s key industries featured.
Corn, soybeans, sugar beet, and grain can all be transported around the state. This product, in particular, can take advantage of the new dynamic load and unload feature incorporated in the DLC.
Cargo can also be picked up from Baily Yard, the world’s largest train yard, linking directly to the extensive railroad network covering most of the state. Then take a drive through the prairies, stopping off in one of the 20 new towns also included in the DLC.
Two new special cargoes have been added to the game with the Nebraska DLC. Two different rail cars can be collected from the Motor Manufacturing Factory in Lincoln for players with the Special Transport DLC.
The Nebraska DLC iss part of the American Truck Simulator Great Plains Calling Bundle on Steam. Now, players can complete their state set, including Montana, Texas, and Kansas among others.
It can also be purchased separately on Steam for £8.99 (approx $11). This is a 10% discount on the usual price so truckers should act fast to take advantage. Fans can watch the Nebraska DLC trailer below:
Along with the Nebraska DLC, the free Update 1.50 patch has also been released. This fixes several issues with the game, as well as improving the renderer and adding the new lane assistant feature.
Sports Paint Jobs Pack
Along with the Nebraska DLC, the Sports Paint Jobs Pack is also out now. This adds all-new truck designs to the game, allowing truckers to paint their rigs in eye-catching ways.
Each new design has been handcrafted by the talented artists at SCS Software to enable players to turn their rigs into canvases to paint. Five matching truck and trailer designs, each with its own unique style, are included.
The Sports Paint Jobs Pack can be purchased on Steam for £1.69 (approx $2). Fans can check out the Sports Paint Jobs Pack trailer below:
