Last week’s Real Racing 3 update added several new cars to the mobile racing simulation including the bonkers Koenigsegg Jesko. If, however, you prefer arcade mobile racers with insane speeds and gravity-defying jumps, a new Asphalt 9 Legends update has landed.
Available to download now on iOS, Android, Huawei, Windows, and Xbox, the Asphalt 9 New Breed Rivals update adds six new cars, new events, and bug fixes.
New cars
Headlining the Asphalt 9 Legends New Breed Rivals update is the Vision 1789. Inspired by Le Mans racing prototypes, this two-seater French hypercar generates more than 1,000 horsepower from a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V8.
Joining the Vision 1789 is the Arash AF8 Falcon Edition, which is powered by a 7.0-litre V8 producing 560 hp. Other new cars include the Brabham BT62 track monster and Bolwell MK X Nagari 500. These cars can be won by completing the new Rivals season and events in the latest update.
Legend Pass holders can also get early access to the Puritalia Berlinetta. After making its racing game debut in GRID Legends last month, the Tushek TS 900 Racer Pro joins Asphalt 9’s car roster as a Premium car.
Rivals Season
With the New Breed Rivals update, Asphalt 9 Legends players can unlock new cars in a new Rivals Season. You can unlock the Vision 1789 car in a new Multiplayer Series every day or get Bolwell MK X Nagari 500 blueprints in weekend events.
New events
In addition, the Asphalt 9 Legends New Breed Rivals update adds two new event types. Starway allows you to get the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder up to 4 stars. If you miss out, don’t worry because the developer says the Starway events will return throughout the year.
Looper Prix, on the other hand, lets you gain additional nitro if you can catch your own ghost. Completing Looper Prix events in the New Breed Rivals update will unlock the Arash AF8 Falcon Edition and Brabham BT62.
The latest Asphalt 9 Legends also contains a number of bug fixes to improve the experience. You can find out more details about the new events, changes, and bug fixes in the patch notes below.

New Career season
- Vencer Sarthe's rank has been increased (the stats are the same at stock and at max) and it will not affect the performance of the car. The intention is for the garage position to indicate better the true power of this car.
- Based on your early feedback, we added the option to sort cars in ascending or descending order throughout our Car filter feature! We also made some other small fixes to the feature.
- New Emojis have been added to the game!
Bug Fixes
- There were some players unable to gain player reputation or complete Club milestones in the past update. This issue has been fixed.
- We fixed an issue that prevented the game to return to the previously used car used in Credit Heist events when coming back into the garage after a race.
- The issue affecting some players' ability to play on the Multiplayer 2 series has been fixed.
- During the last update, there were some car windows showing white reflections. This issue has now been fixed.
- Races with a given time to beat were causing issues in the end screen when placed on Special Events. This bug has been fixed for this update.
- If you tap on the '+' button shown in the garage when you don't have any blueprints for a certain car, you should be redirected directly to an information screen showing you where to get blueprints. There was an issue preventing this from working and it has now been fixed.
- Some of you provided feedback about certain Buenos Aires ramps being too low. We have adjusted them to provide a better gameplay experience.
