Assetto Corsa Evo (Asseto Corsa 2) is officially in development, and now the first cars have been revealed for the upcoming racing simulation. As expected, the Assetto Corsa Evo car list will predominately feature road cars.
Here is the complete Assetto Cora Evo car list confirmed so far.
Latest news - Assetto Corsa Evo Steam page confirms first cars
After months of silence and speculation, Assetto Corsa Evo's Steam page is now live, giving fans a first look at the upcoming track sim in new screenshots.
These screenshots provide a first look at Assetto Corsa Evo's cars and tracks. Porsche, Alfa Romeo, Honda, and Lamborghini will feature in the car list, while Imola and the Nordschleife will be included in the track list.
The Steam page also confirms the game will have VR support, hopefully from launch. This will add to the true immersion Assetto Corsa Evo promises to deliver.
Assetto Corsa Evo car list
As expected, Assetto Corsa Evo will return to the series roots with a focus on road cars instead of track racers. This is in contrast to Assetto Corsa Competizione, which only featured GT racing cars.
As you would expect for an Italian-developed game, Alfa Romeo features prominently, with the initial screenshots confirming the track-focused Giulia Sprint GTA and limited-edition Giulia GTAm are heading to Assetto Corsa Evo. Ferrari has yet to be confirmed, but the Prancing Horse's latest supercars will likely feature in the car roster given Kunos Simulazioni's Italian origins.
Ferrari's chief rival Lamborghini is confirmed, however, with the Huracan STO showcased in early screenshots. Other confirmed manufacturers include Alpine, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche.
There are some surprising additions you don't see often in racing games too, from the electric Alpine A290 hot hatch to the Hyundai N Vision hydrogen-electric hybrid concept. From what we've seen so far, the quality of the car exteriors and interiors will be next level.

Will Assetto Corsa Evo feature race cars?
While Kunos has only confirmed a handful of road cars so far, it's still possible that thoroughbred race cars will feature in Assetto Corsa Evo. Several GT2 and GT3 cars formed part of the original Assetto Corsa's car list along with licenced Ferrari F1 cars.
GT cars from Assetto Corsa Competizione may carry over, but Evo could introduce new racing series to expand the roster.
We'd love to see the World Endurance Championship join Assetto Corsa Evo. WEC is the highest level of endurance racing and has many other categories that race on the same circuits around the world. This includes the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans, one of the most prestigious and challenging races in the world.
As amazing as Le Mans in Assetto Corsa would be, this seems unlikely. Not only is it an expensive series to license, but there is already an official WEC game in the form of Le Mans Ultimate. More realistically, something like the American Le Mans series or perhaps even the British Touring Car Championship could be added. Kunos will reveal more cars closer to Assetto Corsa Competizione's release date.
Release date prediction
Assetto Corsa Evo's release date is yet to be confirmed. However, Digital Bros has confirmed a Summer 2024 release window. This means Assetto Corsa Evo is expected to arrive between June and September 2024.
While that may seem a fair way out, the frequent content additions to AC and ACC help keep the games fresh along with an active modding community. This has helped the longevity of the original titles.
