Assetto Corsa Competizione console updates typically arrive long after the sim racing’s PC sibling. That was the case for the recent PS5 and Xbox Series X|S update, which brought an array of physics changes, the 2023 GT World Challenge Pack DLC, and free car liveries.
And now Kunos Simulazioni has released a surprise Assetto Corsa Competizione console update for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Let’s take a look at the Assetto Corsa Competizione update 1.9.1 patch notes to find out the changes made to the sim racer.
New fixes for Assetto Corsa Competizione PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
One of the most important fixes addresses a force feedback bug. When using a Thrustmaster T150 wheel, some players were experiencing game crashes. This is now fixed in update 1.9.1.
Other fixes address issues where cars would lose all traction and continue accelerating to “excessive speed” and race information would disappear.
There are also fixes specifically for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S from force feedback issues to UI glitches and an update for the McLaren 720S Evo Car model images.
You can find out more details about the changes and fixes in the Assetto Corsa Competizione update 1.9.1 patch notes below.
