Assetto Corsa remains one of the defining sim-racing titles of our time.
With a massive variety of vehicles, huge scope for modding on PC and a second game in the form of Competizione, it's easy to see why.
Table of Contents
So, let's take a look at our favourite vehicles in Assetto Corsa and why you should love them too!
Audi R8 LMS 2016
The Audi R8 is one of our favourites, you know that from our other pieces...
So, naturally, from the base version of the game, the Audi R8 LMS is one of our go-to cars.
With enough downforce to get around the tightest of corners and some awesome power to boot, it's one hell of a car and makes for an awesome driving experience.
Lotus 98T
We're a sucker for a nice Lotus. Maybe it's the small shed in Norfolk in which they're built, or the crafted by hand element of each vehicle, we just love them.
Piloted by the great Ayrton Senna, the Lotus 98T has racing pedigree in it's very blood.
The car is certainly a handful to drive, but the noise alone merits the effort needed to keep it under control.
Nissan Skyline GTR R-34 V-Spec
It wouldn't be a best cars list without something from Japan, right?
For that we've gone with the tried and tested R34 GTR, and the V-Spec version no less.
This JDM legend is an absolute dream to drive in-game, and easily makes out top three favourite!
Special Guest
Our special guest on this list is a PC only car, and that's the Ginetta SuperCup vehicles mod.
Whilst it was first released in 2017, the mod is still incredible fun, and is also the racing car we're most likely to ever drive!
You can get the download link for the mod pack on PC here.
