It's official: Bayonetta is joining Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds soon, becoming the first new character introduced in Year Two of SEGA's racing franchise.

Bayonetta's Addition Is Just the Beginning

Year Two of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is around the corner, and Bayonetta will be the first character added in the Year Two free character DLC.

Bayonetta brings her signature non-stop action to the track and will ride in the Butterfly Witch, a brand-new vehicle.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds received 13 characters via free DLCs last year, and Bayonetta's addition confirms that trend is set to continue into Year Two.

However, at least six paid DLC packs will also be added throughout Year Two, including two based on Godzilla and Evangelion.

The last DLC pack of Year One, based on the animated Avatar series, releases in October and marks the end of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Year One content.

All of the Year Two content will then be unveiled in the Year Two Showcase, which takes place during the World Championship Finals on 9 October.

Both events will be broadcast on the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds official YouTube and Twitch channels.
