BeamNG v0.33.2 hotfix

Following BeamNG's big v0.33 update a new hotfix has arrived to patch up a few issues players have been having.

v0.33 added a new vehicle, the Gavril MD-Series, as well as new parts and improvements across several areas of the West Coast, USA.

Players have been enjoying the new content, but as always there are a few nagging issues that the developers have now remedied.

Vehicles

  • Gavril MD-Series
    • Fixed reverse light flares
    • Increased the durability of single cab driveshaft
  • Bruckell Moonhawk
    • Fixed drag config blowing up before crossing 1/4 mile
  • Simplified Traffic Vehicles
    • Fixed BX traffic cars reversing backwards at random, usually into the player

World Editor

  • Road Architect Tool
    • Fixed an issue where sidewalks/kerbs appeared raised above the ground, which was causing tyre popping when driving over them. Bottom faces of sidewalks were also removed
    • Terraforming Improvement: Added triangle refinement before terraforming operations. This makes terraforming less bumpy when camber is used
    • User Interface: Added new Options tab. Currently it offers an option to load only the roads and not the terrain
    • Rendering Improvement: All decals (in all tool roads) now use the improvedSpline flag (used for better rendering)
    • Convenience Feature: Added isOverObject flag for each road. Now switchable inside the tool
    • Convenience Feature: Traffic lights on roundabouts now switched off by default

User Interface

  • Updated official transactions

Early Preview: Career Mode

  • Fixed Softlock for cargo screen that can happen rarely
  • Fixed parcel progress not being saved for milestones

Game Engine

  • Fixed application exit after 10,000 seconds if it failed to connect to the mod repository
