When it comes to badass vehicles, they don't get much cooler than the Batmobile.
Batman's signature car has been something that every little kid has wanted to tear round the streets since the DC Superhero first appeared in comics.
Throughout the decades, the Batmobile has taken on many forms, but it has always been striking.
While we wait to see the next Batmobile in action, we've collated the best from film, TV, and games!
5. 1966 TV Show
You can't make a list about Batman without including the 1960s live-action TV show. TV's Adam West turned Batman into a truly household name and the car he drove around in was nothing short of spectacular.
It may look a little goofy now, but the Batmobile from this show was extremely cool at the time. This Batmobile was created from a 1950s Ford concept car and decked out in black chrome and red pinstripes.
It is not the car you'd want to drive around on a hot day while dressed in a spandex outfit, but you'd definitely catch people's attention.
4. LEGO Batman 3
Heavily inspired from the Joel Schumacher Batman films from the 90s, the Batmobile we see in LEGO Batman 3 looks surprisingly good. This is genuinely a LEGO set we'd have loved to play with as a kid.
It's extremely fun to drive around the virtual LEGO rendition of Gotham. The engine sound glorious, like a roaring V8 and the front-facing guns definitely come in handy.
Any of the Batmobiles from the three LEGO games could've made this list, but the one from Beyond Gotham looks the best to us.
Better yet, you can drive this thing around Los Santos in GTA Online! Called the Vigilante, it is awesome but hardly cheap.
3. Arkham Asylum
The Batman Arkham Trilogy of video games are the best titles we've seen the Caped Crusader in. The first of this series is Arkham Asylum and the Batmobile featured in it looks extremely striking.
Annoyingly, you can't drive this Batmobile, but from a purely looks perspective, it doesn't get much better than this.
It's incredibly quick too, this one is built for speed, it looks very comfortable doing a few hundred miles per hour in the opening cut scenes.
2. Dark Knight Trilogy
While never called "Batmobile" in any of Christopher Nolan's films, we all know this is a modern take on the classic superhero car. The Tumbler is literally a tank, beginning life as an off-road all-purpose military vehicle.
Decked out with bullet-proof armour, spikes, a snarling engine, guns and turrets, nobody would dare stand in its way. What it lacks in style and elegance, it more than makes up for it in sheer grunt.
Nothing can stop this beast, it's what sends crooks and thieves running for the hills in Gotham.
1. Arkham Knight
The most-recent Arkham video game is Arkham Knight and this is the game where you can finally pilot the Batmobile. This Batmobile is a hybrid of the Dark Knight's Tumbler and the Batmobile we see at the start of Arkham Asylum.
That hybrid aspect is further personified by the vehicle's two modes "Battle" and "Pursuit". Battle mode is where the car hunkers down and becomes like a tank. With all the weapons at your disposal, it's downright invincible.
Pursuit mode sees the car become sleeker and more aerodynamic, allowing it to speed away from the rare occasion where you'll find yourself overwhelmed.
Arkham Knight's Batmobile combines both the classic car and tank elements of a Batmobile, the best of both worlds. That's why it tops our list.
