Codemasters has announced the final DLC pack for GRID Legends is dropping next week. Judging from the teaser image, GRID Legends is going out with a bang.
Bugatti Bolide teased for GRID Legends
“Feeling good, might release the final #GRIDLegends DLC next week,” the GRID Legends Twitter page teased.
Accompanying the teaser is a closeup of one of the new cars in the DLC pack.
The car's distinctive X-shape appears to confirm the Bugatti Bolide is coming to GRID Legends next week.
Inspired by LMP1 racecars, the Bugatti Bolide is a one-off experimental concept. If you already couldn’t tell from the aggressive aerodynamics, the Bolide is not road legal and is designed to tear up the track.
Sharing the same 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 as the Chiron, the Bolide is the fastest and lightest car Bugatti has ever built, churning out a stratospheric 1,824 hp. This enables the track monster to hit 0-60 in an estimated 2.2 seconds before maxing out at 310 mph.
Should the Bugatti Bolide come to GRID Legends, it will be the first time has been driveable in a console racing game, though it has appeared in the mobile racers Real Racing 3, CSR Racing 2, and Asphalt 9: Legends.
Final GRID Legends DLC expansion coming next week
Next week’s DLC will mark the final GRID Legends expansion following the Classic Car-Nage, Enduring Spirit, and Rise of Ravenwest packs. All four expansions are included at no extra charge in the GRID Legends Deluxe Edition.
With GRID Legends approaching its first anniversary next month, we may get a “complete edition” re-release bundling all four expansions with the full game at a discounted price.
