Online multiplayer games are becoming more and more popular. Titles like Fortnite and Call of Duty Warzone are massive and only getting bigger with each year.
Have racing sims like Assetto Corsa Competizione joined this crowd though? Or can you play ACC offline in single-player mode as well?
Single player mode
Assetto Corsa Competizione has an extensive single-player career mode in addition to its excellent multiplayer.
Offline is where you go to improve your lap times and your consistency before trying out your new techniques in multiplayer. There's absolutely nothing stopping you from playing ACC completely offline as well, as this has enough content to keep you entertained for hours on end.
The AI in ACC is great, they always pose a challenge while being respectful like a real person would be. Sometimes, it does feel like you're racing against real people, until you realise you're playing offline.
Assetto Corsa online
ACC is the officially licensed racing sim of the Blancpain GT series and has esports competitions for this series. So, playing online can go much further than racing against your friends if you put the effort in.
Of course, if you're wanting to play against people online, ACC has you covered. There are a lot of circuits, cars and race types to choose from, so it's hard for this game to get old.
