One aspect of The Crew Motorfest that sets it apart from Forza Horizon 5 is the staggering variety of vehicles. Ubisoft’s open-world racer boasts over 600 vehicles at launch, from supercars to bikes, boats, and planes. There’s something for everyone. However, credit payouts are low in early events, so can you sell cars in The Crew Motorfest for extra cash?
Here’s everything we know about how to sell cars in The Crew Motorfest.
Can you sell cars in The Crew Motorfest?
While you can choose a starter car, most of the cars you drive in The Crew Motorfest are loaned for free in the themed Playlist events. Completing every event in a playlist earns you a prize car, but you may not always want these cars.
You can also import cars from The Crew 2, but there’s no option to select specific cars. This means you may end up with cars cluttering your collection that you want to remove. So with that in mind, can you sell cars in The Crew Motorfest?
Unfortunately, you can’t sell cars in The Crew Motorfest. It’s a shame because this would be an easy way of earning money fast. This may change as Ivory Tower could add the option to sell cars in a future update if there is enough demand from the community.
Selling cars is an expected feature in driving games with hundreds of vehicles. However, The Crew 2 also doesn’t let you sell cars in your collection.
Ivory Tower supported The Crew 2 for five years with regular post-launch updates adding new cars. However, the developer hasn’t added the option to sell cars in that time, so The Crew Motorfest is unlikely to get this feature.
By contrast, you can sell cars at the Auction House in The Crew Motorfest’s main rival, The Crew Motorfest. This online marketplace allows the community to buy and sell cars online. The Crew Motorfest doesn’t have an equivalent feature yet.
How to import cars from The Crew 2
While you can’t sell cars in The Crew Motorfest, you can import cars from The Crew 2 to bolster your collection and give you a head start. If you played The Crew 2, you’ll be asked if you want to import cars from your collection when starting The Crew Motorfest or start from scratch. This is a non-reversible option. If you don’t import them at the start, you can still access this option later.
