CarX Street coming soon to Android – but still no sign of Steam game

CarX Street was supposed to be drifting onto PC and mobiles late last year. While the open-world street racer is finally out on iOS, the Android and Steam versions still haven’t arrived. Now, CarX has issued an update about the upcoming Android version.

CarX Street coming soon to Android

With open-beta testing currently underway, fans won't have to wait much longer for the Android version.

On Twitter, CarX Technologies says it will “continue to work on solution for issues we’ve discovered during open beta-test of Android version.”

Furthermore, the Android version “will be available for players from all over the world as soon as we’ll solve those issues.”

Based on feedback, CarX Technologies also confirmed that steering wheel controls will be added in the next update based on player feedback from the beta.

In addition AI opponents are being adjusted “make the behavior of opponents less aggressive during the race,” while game optimisation has achieved “significant results.”

Still no sign of CarX Street on Steam

Disappointingly, CarX Technologies didn’t offer any updates about the PC version of CarX Street. It was supposed to be out on 15 December before being delayed yet again.

At the time of writing, CarX Street is listed as “coming soon” on Steam with an unspecified release date. Let’s hope we don't have to wait much longer for an update on the long-delayed Steam game.
