The CarX Street PC and console release will be later in 2024, developers CarX Technologies have confirmed.

CarX Street is currently only available on mobile devices, but the game has been set for a PC and console release too. We now have a release date of later this year for both the console and PC versions.

So, what else do we know about the PC and console versions of CarX Street? We've got everything you need to know right here!

CarX Street: PC and Console Release

CarX Street's PC version got a teaser trailer earlier this year and Early Access was confirmed to be in 2024. The full release date, though, remained a mystery.

There was also no confirmation about a PS5 or Xbox release date, either. Aside from the confirmation of these ports coming at some point in the future.

However, CarX Technologies confirmed via their Twitter account that the PC and console versions' "base work will be done till the end of the year".

For those that aren't aware, CarX Tech are Russian game developers, so the level of English in their posts and updates can be lacking. What that Tweet insinuates is that at an absolute minimum, the game will be good enough to launch by the end of 2024.

Does that mean the game will launch in 2024? That's uncertain, as we still don't have a firm release date for the PC's early access, nor PC's full release.

What else was confirmed?

CarX Tech love a long social media post and today's was no exception to the rule. Their Tweet answered a number of questions from prospective players and we've summarised those for you in this article.

Customisable liveries for cars were confirmed for the PC and console versions, but not from day one. Also not available from the release date are mods, but these will be possible later.

Something that was spotted in the PC's teaser trailer were weather effects and CarX Tech have confirmed that this is something they're working on adding to CarX Street.

Those looking to take pictures of the game's beautiful map will also be able to do so in the game's camera mode.

There will also be a story mode in the game, but this doesn't look like something that will be there from launch day. CarX Tech have stated they "needs time" to implement this.
