Codemasters is best known these days for its F1 series and rally proficiency, but that isn't all it does.
Back in 2022 GRID Legends arrived, blending a thrilling story with real cinematic scenes and on-track action. GRID Legends didn't find a massive audience, but those who did dive into it enjoyed it a lot.
Now it is racing onto mobile devices too.
GRID Legends heading to iOS & Android
Mobile racing games are hard to do, and usually lean into the arcade such as Mario Kart Tour and Asphalt. GRID Legends will deliver a more realistic racing experience for players.
The game is far from a sim like iRacing, but it is certainly more realistic and offers a huge array of cars from the Renault R26 F1 car to the Lancia Stratos and Aston Martin Valkyrie.
GRID Legends will cost $14.99/£9.99/€12.49 and according to the App Store is expected to land on December 17.
The game will include all of the DLC that was released during the title's first life cycle. One thing to note is that Codemasters is limiting availability to devices that can run the game to a satisfactory standard. This means you will need to check on the App Store or Play Store to see if your device can handle it. The more modern your phone, the better!
