GRID Legends raced onto and PC consoles back in February but was sadly overlooked as it collided head-on with Gran Turismo 7, which was released just one week later.
It’s a shame because GRID Legends is arguably one of this year’s most underrated racing games thanks to its thrilling arcade racing, a huge variety of motorsport disciplines, and unique story mode.
Luckily, this hasn’t stopped Codemasters from updating GRID Legends with new content from new cars to a photo mode. After the Classic-Car-Nage expansion brought demolition derby to the arcade racer back in June, Codemasters is teasing the next GRID Legends DLC pack.
Four new cars teased for GRID Legends
Codemasters has shared images of four new cars coming to GRID Legends in a future DLC pack on Twitter with the following caption: “the night is darkest just before the dawn.”
Each car is blacked out, but one of them appears to be a Bentley Continental GT3. Another appears to be a Bentley Speed 8 Le Mans prototype, while another looks like a BMW V12 LMR Le Mans car.
The remaining car appears to be a Mazda AZ1– Codemasters recorded engine sounds for the Japanese kei car back in 2020 before GRID Legends was announced.
Is 24-hour racing coming to GRID Legends?
Given that the car pack has an endurance racing theme and the caption alludes to night racing, fans are speculating that 24-hour racing could be coming to GRID Legends in the DLC.
Codemasters hasn’t revealed when the next GRID Legends DLC pack will be released, but it should be coming soon. As well as the Classic-Carnage DLC, this will be one of four DLC expansions included in the Deluxe Edition.
Each DLC expansion will add new Driven to Glory story chapters along with new cars, circuits, event types, and customisation items.
