Codemasters titles join EA Play: F1 2020, DIRT, Grid, & more!

EA Play is a subscription that gives its owners access to a huge variety of titles from various studios.

Following the EA acquisition of Codemasters, this now means we're going to see a few of our favourite racing titles join the service as well.

So, let's take a look at these games now, and what we can expect in the future!

EA Play

The service isn't too dissimilar to Xbox Game Pass, where players pay a set subscription fee each month and gain access to a variety of games.

DIRT 5: It's easy to see why this has been a fan-favourite!

These games, naturally, are ones made or published by EA, so you can expect a wide selection of games to choose from.

Excitingly, those with Xbox Game Pass and Ultimate can benefit from EA Play for free as part of their subscription. Otherwise, for access on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, you'll be paying $4.99 a month or $29.99 for a year.

Codemasters games

There are a variety of more recent and older Codemasters titles making their way on to the platform.

F1 2020: This game still has a huge audience, and is an awesome title to play!

These include some big names like F1 2020, DIRT 5, and even Grid. Of course, joining these are titles such as F1 2019, DIRT 4, and DiRT Rally 2.0.

This will give players access to a plethora of racing gems from Codies, and give them a real and varied experience of what racing games can provide.

Looking Forward

In the future, we assume that more and more Codemasters titles will join the platform.

RALLY TIME: Codies is getting the WRC licence in order to make the official games!

We can expect to see F1 2021 on there eventually, as well as WRC games once Codies takes control of the licence in 2023.

Until then, we're excited to see the OCdies presence on EA Play grow, and see the impact it can have on the player base for their awesome games!
