With F1 25 approaching, many players are wondering whether or not they'll be able to take to the tracks with friends through crossplay and cross-platform support.

Anticipation for the latest entry in the popular F1 series continues to grow as each week passes by, with EA SPORTS showcasing the game's new features, mechanics, and improvements across various modes.

As F1 25 is releasing on multiple platforms, here's everything you need to know about crossplay support before it arrives on May 30!

Will F1 25 Have Crossplay?

For those of you who like racing against friends, family, and fellow Formula 1 enthusiasts in co-op or multiplayer, you will be pleased to know that F1 25 will indeed come with crossplay support across all platforms, including PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

This has been confirmed via the official F1 25 game page on both the Xbox and Steam stores, with each one stating that cross-platform support will be included for co-op and multiplayer modes.

Despite some games not supporting crossplay, most of them do—including F1 24—so it was always likely that its successor was going to have it, too.

With realistic graphics, authentically scanned tracks, and a variety of customization options for players to enjoy, crossplay will no doubt be hugely popular in F1 25 as drivers go head-to-head regardless of what system they're on.

We also expect F1 25 to include an option to disable the crossplay feature for those who only want to race with others on the same console, and not against players on another platform.
