Gran Turismo 7 is the hottest new game around, but does Gran Turismo 7 have Streamer Mode?
Debuting at #1 in the UK sales charts, GT7 has been a smash hit with players everywhere. You can check out our review of GT7 here.
Players have been jumping onto streams and creating videos with it, but there is an issue with music within Gran Turismo 7.
Does Gran Turismo 7 have Streamer Mode?
Most modern games come with a Streamer Mode. This disables any music that could trigger copyright strikes on YouTube, Twitch, or other streaming and video platforms.
This is important as channels can get demonetized and have videos be removed for using music they don't have rights to.
Unfortunately, players will be exposed to claims from just one song in Gran Turismo 7. This is Rosalia's BIZCOCHITO.
While there was no Streamer Mode in Gran Turismo 7 at launch, the recent Update 1.07 has added a "Broadcast Mode" to the game.
This removes the tracks that can trigger copyright claims, allowing players to use the in-game music library even when streaming!
How to activate Broadcast Mode
You can turn Broadcast Mode on by going up to the GT Logo in the top-left of the screen and hitting Options.
Then head into Sound Volume and scroll all the way down.
There you will find the Broadcast Mode switch. Click X to turn it on, then just back your way out to the World Map. Simple.
Turning off music in Gran Turismo 7
Another option is to manually turn off all background music in Gran Turismo 7.
To do this you will need to head to the top-left of your screen and select the GT logo, then click Options from the drop-down menu.
From there you can select the Sound Volume menu and turn the background music off.
To do that you will want to set Menu BGM to 0, turn Play Race BGM off, set Race BGM to 0, set Replay BGM to 0, and finally set Other BGM to 0 as well.
