Fans of driving sideways rejoice: DRIFTCE is a new drift racing game sliding onto consoles this year. But which cars can you burn rubber in? Here’s the complete DRIFTCE car list.
DRIFTCE car list
From the makers of the PC-only DRIFT21, DRIFTCE features 12 iconic licensed cars synonymous with the Japanese drifting scene.
These include everything from the Toyota AE86 famous for starring in the Japanese manga Initial D to the legendary BMW E46 M3 and Mazda MX5.
Furthermore, every car can be extensively modified with 1,800 replaceable components from new engines to wheels and suspensions, With these customisation options, you can build your dream drift car.
Developer ECC Games also worked on the Car Mechanic Simulation series, so we can expect deep customisation options.
Other customisation options also let you change the paint colours, fit body kits, and add decals to personalise your car’s appearance.
12 demanding tracks will test your drifting skills, including a laser-scanned version of Japan’s Mount Haruna for the first time along with returning tracks from DRIFT21.

Platforms and release date
DRIFTCE is sliding onto PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Publisher 505 Games hasn’t announced a release date yet, but DRIFTCE is set to arrive in Spring 2023 in a cloud of tyre smoke and a trail of tyre marks.
There aren’t many dedicated console drift games to choose from, so DRIFTCE is one to watch for drift racing fans.
