EA Sports WRC slid onto PC and consoles last November, but EA continues to support the official rally simulation with seasonal updates. After the 1.8 update added VR support in April, EA Sports WRC Season 5 will bring new new Rally Pass items, Moments challenges, and more tomorrow.

EA Sports WRC Season 5 Rally Pass

Previewed in a new trailer, a new Rally Pass will bring new driver and car customization options for Season 5. These are unlocked by earning XP, with 20 levels of rewards available.

Throughout Season 5, players can unlock up to ten free items plus an extra five exclusive to EA Play subscribers. On top of that, the VIP Rally Pass adds an additional 15 premium items, bringing the total to 30. Those who haven’t completed Season 4 don’t have long to unlock the rewards as all players will be reset to Level 1.

Season 5 Moments

Alongside the new Rally Pass, Season 5 also adds over 60 new Moments to complete. These challenges see you relive iconic moments from WRC’s history with unique objectives, cars, and stages inspired by real scenarios.

Season 5’s Moments will coincide with the real-life 2024 championship, with new challenges available around one to two weeks after the real event. In Season 4, you can already play Moments inspired by March’s Safari Rally Kenya and April’s Croatia Rally.

After Season 5 goes live, Season 4 Moments can be replayed in the Archive tab. While Season 5 will be live tomorrow, there won’t be a patch update as the new season content was added in the last update.

With the 2024 WRC season well underway, fans are starting to wonder if EA Sports WRC will get a 2024 cars and stages update or if a sequel (either WRC 2 or WRC 24 depending on how Codemasters chooses to name it) will arrive later this year.
