Players are used to a new WRC game with every new season, but since EA picked up the license and released EA Sports WRC last year that cycle is now breaking.
Table of Contents
Rather than releasing a new game, EA will put out three DLC packs staggered between October 2024 and spring 2025 to add fresh content to the platform.
WRC 24 Expansion Pack
The three DLC packs can be bought as a bundle or purchased individually. While no pricing is available just yet, the Locations & Car pack will be available on October 8.
This will include two new locations, the Tet Rally Latvia and the Orlen 80th Rally Poland. These events will test drivers, particularly Rally Latvia which made its WRC debut in 2024.
Also included are five new vehicles. The latest Rally1 hybrids from Ford, Hyundai, and Toyota will be part of this pack along with the Ford Fiesta Rally3 Evo and the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2. New liveries and the full driver/co-driver roster from this season will also be part of this pack.
If you only want a 2024 update, then this is the only pack you need. But the next two will add even more places for you to go rallying.
Le Maestros Pack
The Le Maestros pack will be available sometime in late 2024 or early 2025 and will add two new routes; Brianconnet and Fafe.
Brianconnet features 14.5km of roads wrapping around Monte Carlo's stunning vistas while Fafe takes players to north Portugal.
Hard Chargers Pack
The final DLC pack of this set will be out sometime in spring 2025 and feature two updated stages. The fast, technical routes of Umea and the winding mountain course of Harvati in Acropolis Rally Greece will push players to the limit.
EA has promised that both Le Maestros and Hard Chargers will feature additional content, but are keeping the exact details for a later date.
These packs will be available on every platform, but players must have the base EA Sports WRC game in order to access them.
