The Brazilian Grand Prix in Interlagos is one of the most iconic circuits on the calendar.
Home to some of Formula One's greatest moments, it merits an awesome setup to go with it.
Table of Contents
Let's take a look at the setup you should be using to win races here, right now!
Aerodynamics
As a track that requires a very balanced car, you'll want to make sure that you replicate this in your setup.
We've gone with a front wing value of 3 and a rear wing of 4.
This should keep your top speed high enough for that sweeping final straight, and maintain enough downforce to be competitive in the corners.
Transmission
Due to the aero setup, we may need a bit more help in the middle and final sector of the lap.
To do this, set your on-throttle diff at 50% and your off-throttle value to 55%.
This should help the car rotate more easily on some of the tighter corners on the circuit.
Suspension Geometry
We've gone with the normal balance for our suspension geometry to ensure a balanced car throughout the lap.
This means we've gone with values of -2.80 on the front and -1.10 on the rear.
We've coupled with with a toe of 0.07 on the front and 0.20 on the rear.
Suspension
Once again, we have to ensure a balanced suspension setup, but we can run slightly low.
Go with 2 on the front and 4 on the rear for firmness, coupled with anti-roll bars of 4 on the front and 9 on the rear.
Finally, set your front ride height to 3 and your rear ride height to 4.
Brakes
Once again, we have a very common brake setup to use for Brazil.
We've gone with 95% brake pressure and 50% brake bias.
This ensure as few lockups as possible whilst not sacrificing any stopping ability.
Tyres
The front right takes a bit of a beating here, so set its pressure to 21.4psi and front left to 21.8psi.
For the rears, we went with 19.9psi on both sides. This setup should help keeps temps and wear as low as possible for maximum race pace.
