F1 22 Canada setup
As a street circuit, there are close walls and tight corners at the Circuit de Gilles Villeneuve.
But it is also a fast track that needs minimal downforce if you are to make moves into the final chicane.

Aerodynamics
Canada is one of those tracks where you want a surprisingly high amount of aero.
We've gone with 28-24 wings to keep the car nicely planted through the chicanes and slower corners.

Transmission
This part of the setup is all about how the 1,000 bhp under your right foot is pushed through the rear tyres.
We've gone with our usual 60% on-throttle differential. This helps the rear of the car stay in line when you get the power down out of a corner.
The 50% off-throttle differential will give you some nice rotation on the brakes as you go into those slower corners, especially useful for turn 2 and the hairpin.
Suspension geometry
The suspension geometry meta doesn't seem to have changed from F1 2021.
We're running -2.50 and -1.00 cambers along with 0.05 and 0.20 toes.
Suspension
Suspension is a very personal part of the setup, but these settings should give you a very stable and predictable car to go racing with.
We've gone for 4-1 on the suspension and 7-1 on the anti-roll bars. This will let you flick the car through the chicanes and keep the rear nicely under control.
The 5-6 ride height creates a bit of a rake to help the rear settle. It also means you can go take some extra kerb in the final chicane, just don't get too greedy!
Brakes
Stopping power isn't too crucial in Canada, but why skimp on it?
We've gone with 100% brake pressure and 50% brake bias to give you the most braking performance possible.
Of course this comes with the risk of lockups, and if you aren't able to avoid them then drop the brake pressure a few points.
Tyres
The new Pirelli rubber is a tough one to figure out.
However, we've found good performance from 22.5 psi on the fronts and 21.5 psi on the rear tyres.
