F1 24 Great Britain Setup: Best Car Settings For Silverstone

Silverstone is unmistakably the home of Formula 1. The old airfield makes for a great circuit, with its flat, open expanse perfect for testing both cars and drivers.

This landscape has helped form a track dominated by long straights and flat-out corners, perfect for overtaking and putting on a good show. To make the most of it, you'll need a good F1 24 Great Britain setup, updated for the new handling patch.

Home of the first-ever Formula 1 world championship race, Silverstone is a mainstay on the F1 calendar. The track is one of the fastest on the F1 circuit, with a blistering average speed.

Two DRS zones are perfect for overtaking, along with two further straights where squeezing past your rival is possible.

Then there's the mighty Copse to test your nerve, along with Maggotts and Becketts, two of the most famous corners in motorsport. The middle sector of Silverstone is arguably one of the best sections of any racetrack ever built.

F1 24's handling was criticized by F1 Esports drivers and seasoned content creators upon release. The game has since been patched, with this setup best suited to the game post-patch.

Aerodynamics

Silverstone requires a slippery car that can also produce downforce when needed in the slow corners.

A 38 front wing and 21 rear wing will keep the car on the road while also reducing drag on the main straights.

Transmission

Transmission settings have a new option in F1 24, along with a new engine braking option. This sets how much speed is scrubbed off when off the throttle and pushed back into the ERS battery pack.

This may change as we discover more about the setting, but right now a maximum 100% setting is the best option.

The differential dictates how differently the rear wheels can rotate when on and off the throttle.

The on-throttle should be set to 50%, and the off-throttle should be set to 40%. This will help charge the car around the flat-out corners while also helping throttle away from the slow turns.

Suspension Geometry

In previous years you would set camber all the way right and toe all the way left. This year, as things currently stand, that creates some difficulty in car balance.

As a result, we have gone with -3.5 and -2.2 for the camber settings and 0.0 for both toe settings. This assists in creating the turning potential for the car through the quick switchbacks.

Suspension

Suspension is the most detailed section of your F1 24 setup and can be extremely personal to your driving style and skill level.

Silverstone needs a stiff 41 front suspension with a looser 5 rear suspension to keep the car manageable.

Anti-roll bar sets how the car pitches during changes of direction. At Silverstone, you can afford to stiffen the anti-roll bars more with 20 on the front and 18 on the rear.

The Ride Height can be reduced to help suck the car onto the road. 25 on the front and 55 on the rear will generate extra downforce through ground effect.

Brakes

Silverstone does have some tough braking zones, so the brakes need to be on point. For this, your Brake Pressure needs to be high at 95%.

It also helps if your braking bias is weighted more towards the front than usual. Setting the front to 55% provides the ideal balance.

Tyres

Maximizing the tyre pressures are the best option in F1 24. This will increase performance without sacrificing too much tyre life.

Setting 29.5 psi on the front and 26.5 psi on the rear will prevent getting a blowout on the final lap of the race.
