Following last week’s gameplay reveal trailer, Frontier Developments has released a new gameplay overview trailer for F1 Manager 2022, giving us a fresh look at the upcoming F1 management sim.
F1 Manager 2022 gameplay overview trailer
Shown at the 2022 PC Gaming Show, the new gameplay overview trailer takes a closer look at the world of F1 Manager 2022. In the video, Community Manager Steve James provides an overview of key game features and areas you’ll be managing as Team Principal for one of the ten official F1 teams.
F1 Manager 2022 is all about making the right calls. These decisions can make a difference between your team winning and losing the world championship. We get a look at F1 Manager 2022’s in-depth Strategy Editor, where you can plan tyre stints for each driver and make critical decisions on the fly.
Out on the track, races are presented in full 3D with broadcast-style camera angles and commentary from David Croft and Karun Chandhok.
As the video explains, you can issue driver callouts such as instructing them to attack or defend positions, manage tyre wear and battery usage, or avoid battling a teammate. Race incidents and changing weather conditions will also require split-second decisions.
Between races, every aspect of the team can be controlled at the headquarters, from hiring staff and drivers, to managing budgets to keep the board happy and developing new car parts for future races.
