F1 Manager 2022 update 1.9 improves fuel usage and AI behaviour

After last week’s update 1.8 changed the tyre performance, F1 Manager 2022 update 1.9 has rolled out. This is a relatively small update compared to update 1.8 but it addresses more issues reported by the community.

Frontier has released the F1 Manager 2022 update 1.9 patch notes so let's find out what's new.

Fuel usage and AI improvements

Available on all platforms across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, F1 Manager 2022 update 1.9 makes further improvements to fuel usage. According to the F1 Manager 2022 update 1.9 patch notes, players and AI drivers will run out of fuel less frequently during races.

There are also improvements to AI behaviour in wet or mixed conditions races. AI drivers are now less likely to make unnecessary pit stops in these conditions.

Additionally, update 1.9 fixes an issue where dilemma pop-ups weren’t clickable on ultra-wide screens.

Frontier Developments will continue monitoring community feedback for future updates. Considering F1 Manager 2022 has only been out for just over a month, Frontier’s post-release support is commendable.
