The Formula 1 and FANATEC partnership brings real and virtual racing closer than they have ever been. It allows fans to experience technology used in Formula 1, providing the most authentic experience possible to date.
FANATEC will continue to be the Official Sponsor and Hardware Partner of the F1 Sim Racing World Championship, providing all the professional‑grade simulators that racers from all the teams will use in the current season.
The F1 Sim Racing World Championship, where teams battle for a $750,000 prize pool in a 12‑round calendar, kicks off on March 27 at DreamHack in Birmingham. It will then move to the F1 Media and Technology Centre at Biggin Hill for the rest of the season, with all rounds being broadcast live on all Formula 1 platforms.
But that's not all, as the FANATEC simulators will be present on the Fan Zones of all Formula 1 Grands Prix of the 2026 season, allowing fans to experience what it feels like to be behind an F1.
Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at Formula 1, said the following about the partnership:
"Fanatec has helped elevate the competitive standard of our F1 Sim Racing ecosystem, and this extension is an exciting step forward in our long and successful relationship. This state-of-the-art hardware brings fans and racers even closer to the technology used in Formula 1, giving our audience a more authentic and accessible way to experience the sport."
