Forza Horizon 5 Explore the Horizon Summer: Festival Playlist, reward cars, Photo Challenge, Treasure Hunt

This week marks the start of the new Forza Horizon 5 Series, starting with the Explore the Horizon Summer festival playlist.

Explore the Horizon is all about Overlanding. Series brings six new cars to Forza Horizon 5, an upgraded photo mode, and new customisation options for select vehicles. You can find out more in the Explore the Horizon patch notes.

Forza Horizon 5 Explore the Horizon Summer

Forza Horizon 5 Explore the Horizon is set to start on 25 May at 3:30pm BST / 10:30am ET. You then have until 1 June 3:30pm BST / 10:30am ET to complete every challenge and reap the rewards.

In terms of Season Progress cars, this week you can win the DeBerti F-250 (20 points) and Porsche Macan RR (40 points). Debuting in the Explore the Horizon series, the DeBerti F-250 custom pickup is exclusive to this week’s Summer festival playlist, so don’t miss out.

Points earned in each festival playlist count towards unlocking the two end-of Season reward cars: the Wuling Sunshine (80 points) and Audi RS 7 '21 (160 points).

Reward cars

There are four more reward cars on offer this week in the main festival playlist. In line with the Overlanding theme, most of them are off-roaders and pickup trucks for conquering the wilderness.

Completing The Trial will win you the 1986 Lamborghini LM 002, Lamborghini’s first ever off-roader nicknamed the “Rambo Lambo.”

This week’s Event Lab challenge will give you the 1987 Mercedes-AMG Hammer Coupe, while the Showcase Remix event will win you the 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept.

Finally, you can also unlock the 2020 Land Rover Defender 110 X by completing the Seasonal Championship.

Along with the reward cars, completing the Danger Sign and Trail Blazer challenges will win you some Super Wheelspins. You can also win a Cupra Race Suit for your avatar if you win the Cupra Formentor VZ5 Seasonal Championship.

Expansion rewards

There are no additional reward cars for Hot Wheels or Rally Adventure expansion owners this week. In the Rally Adventure expansion, conquering the Danger Sign gives you a Super Wheelspin, while completing the Seasonal Championship wins you a Farid Rueda Lion Race Suit.

Another Super Wheelspin is up for grabs in this week’s Hot Wheels Speed Zone. you can also win a Legacy Rewind car horn in the Hot Wheels Seasonal Championship.

Photo Challenge: #Donkey

This week’s #Donkey Photo Challenge requires you to take a wildlife photograph near the camera equipment to the north of Cascadas de Agua Azul.

Treasure Hunt: The Pathfinder Challenge

This week’s Treasure Hunt shakes things up. Instead of giving you a riddle to solve, you need to complete the three new Pathfinder challenges in the Evolving World Accolades page.
