It’s Treasure Hunt time! For the first time in weeks, the Forza Horizon 5 10 Year Anniversary Spring Festival Playlist contains a new Treasure Hunt challenge to complete. If you’re struggling to solve the clue and find the location, fear not because our Forza Horizon 5 Fame and Fortune Treasure Hunt guide will show you how.
Forza Horizon 5 Fame and Fortune Treasure Hunt guide
The Fortune Treasure Hunt starts with the following clue: “The Airfield Speed Zone is said to be silly, especially when driven in a Jeep named Willy.” It’s not the most cryptic clue we’ve ever had.
As the clue suggests, you need to do a Speed Zone challenge in a Willys Jeep. If you don’t already have one in your garage, you can buy the Willys Jeep at the Autoshow for 40,000 credits.
Go to the map, filter Speed Zones, and set your waypoint or fast travel to the Airfield Speedzone south of the map. You then need to achieve at least one star in the Speed Zone with the Willys Jeep. To get one star, you need to hit at least 100 mph.
It’s not designed for speed, so you may struggle to reach the target speed without some tuning. Once you have earned at least one star, the next clue will pop up on the map highlighting the location area.
You’ll find the treasure chest right in the middle of the runway at the following location on the map:
It’s as easy as that! Smash into the chest to earn an easy 250,000 credit reward – not bad at all.
10 Year Anniversary Spring
There are plenty of other challenges awaiting you in the 10 Year Anniversary Spring Festival Playlist as well as new reward cars. At 20 points you get the awesome Aston Martin One-77 and at 40 points you get the puny Peel P50 micro car.
Other reward cars up for grabs this week include the McLaren P1, Range Rover Velar, Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, Range Rover '73, and McLaren Senna.
As well as the Treasure Hunt, there’s also a Photo Challenge requiring you to snap a photo of the McLaren Senna at the Horizon 4 Festival Site in Tierra Prospera.
