The Italian Automotive series is over in Forza Horizon 5, so it’s now time to look ahead at what’s next. The Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Creatives was revealed in the September Forza Monthly stream, with a major overhaul to the Event Lab being the highlight.
BMW dominate the reward cars list for September, with five available to unlock across the month. There’s also an electrifying new car collaboration, as well as a host of new customisation options to explore.
An electrifying collaboration
The Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Creatives series brings a unique collaboration with Rivian. The American electric car manufacturer is known for their electric pickups and SUVs.
Forza Horizon 5 players can get their hands on both the 2022 Rivian R1T and 2022 Rivian R1S to take offroading around Mexico. The R1T will be available in the Autumn playlist, with the R1S coming in the Spring playlist. Both will be Event Lab rewards.
Rivian is making their Forza Horizon debut this month, but the Horizon Creatives series is dominated by BMW.
Horizon Creatives playlist reward cars
A total of five BMWs are up for grabs in the Horizon Creatives series rewards. From ’90s classics to modern electric power, there’s a BMW for everyone.
The full list of BMWs coming to Horizon Creatives is as follows:
- 1995 BMW 850CSi
- 2022 BMW i4 eDrive40
- 2022 BMW iX xDrive50
- 2023 BMW M2
- 2021 BMW M3 Competition Sedan
On top of those cars, the 1996 BMW 850CSi is this series’ main reward car. 80 points will see players unlock this 90’s gem.
Finally, Forza Motorsport players can unlock the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray in Forza Horizon 5. Combining both petrol and electric drive, the E-Ray is a true freak of speed and is also one of Forza Motorsport's cover cars.
Any Forza Horizon 5 player who downloads and plays Forza Motorsport can unlock the E-Ray from 10 October. Players with early access to Forza Motorsport can redeem the E-Ray from 5 October.
Creating creativity
As the name suggests, the Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Creatives series is all about creativity. A big part of this is a major overhaul of the EventLab.
Event Lab 2.0 adds new tools, quality-of-life improvements, and features to the Event Lab. These are designed to allow for bigger, faster, and better events to be created by players.
New prefabs, a selection mode, and even a new map location have been created to help boost player creativity. EventLab Island is a 2km x 2km concrete island built out in the ocean. An increased prop budget has been allocated to EventLab Island to enable players to build as big as they want.
Release date
Horizon Creatives begins on 14 September through 12 October. Before then, the Horizon Creatives patch update will be available to download on Tuesday 12 September.
