Forza Horizon 5’s new Horizon Race-Off season kicks off today, bringing with it a new playlist, a fresh selection of challenges to complete, and new reward cars to win, including McLaren’s first hybrid supercar. A new co-op event sees players split into two teams racing on asphalt or off-road, working together to win rewards.

Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Race-Off Summer
The Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Race-Off Summer festival playlist begins on Thursday 28 March at 2:30 pm GMT / 9:30 am ET.
You then have one week to collect as many rewards as possible until Thursday 4 April at 2:30 pm GMT / 9:30 am ET.
Reward cars
This week’s season progress rewards are the athletic 2023 McLaren Artura (20 points) hybrid supercar, which makes its Forza debut, and 2018 Porsche Macan LPR Rally Raid (40 points).
Elsewhere, completing The Trial event unlocks the 2019 Lamborghini Urus, which was coincidentally added to Gran Turismo 7 today in update 1.44. You can also win the 2021 Cupra Formentor VZ5 in the EventLab challenge.
Elsewhere, completing the four Seasonal Championships unlocks the Volkswagen #1107 Desert Dingo Racing Stock Bug, 2003 Ford Focus RS, 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA, 1955 Chevrolet 150 Utility Sedan.
As always, several Super Wheelspins are up for grabs for a chance to win more exotic cars. Outside of the festival playlist, competing in the Race-Off challenge will unlock two fast Fords.
Once both teams have earned enough points, Asphalt Racers goal will be rewarded with the 2024 Ford Mustang, while Offroad Racers will unlock the 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R.
Expansion rewards
Moving onto the expansion rewards, Rally Adventure players can win the 1975 Ford Bronco, while Hot Wheels players can get the 2018 Renault Megane RS. Both are rewarded for completing the respective Seasonal Championships. You can also pick up some Super Wheelspins in the Rally Adventure Speed Trap and Hot Wheels Drift Zone challenges.
Photo Challenge: #Uncovered
This week’s Uncovered Photo Challenge requires you to take a photo of any off-roader in Uxmal. Complete this challenge and you’ll be rewarded with a Paint Spray car horn.
Treasure Hunt: Star Searching
The first Horizon Race-Off Playlist kicks off with another Treasure Hunt. We’re going star gazing this week with the following clue: "In the 50s we looked to the stars and space for design inspiration, take a space age car and look for the tool to see the bright night sky!”
