Forza Horizon 5: How to buy cars

Forza Horizon 5 is hands down the best racing game on the Xbox Series X right now! Months on from its release last year, we're still playing and enjoying this racing sandbox. For those that are new to the game though, we're bringing you some handy guides to help with your playthrough.

Today we bring you a quick guide on how to find and buy new cars in Horizon 5.

Barking up the right tree

It might seem obvious to some, but you need to know where you're looking to get a new set of wheels. While you're driving around, press the menu button on the Series X controller. Hit RB to go over to the Cars menu before fast travelling to "Festival Mexico".

PLENTY TO CHOOSE FROM: You can find every car that's in Forza through these menus

When the menu has loaded, you've got plenty of options when it comes to buying and selling cars. If you're on a budget, you can buy and selling used cars rather than getting something new. This can be down through the Auction House menu on the left of the screen.

As it's an auction house though, you'll have to bid and hope on cars rather than pay a flat fee. Unless it's a deal though, as you can take advantage of some fantastic offers here.

The Autoshow though, is where you can find the best new cars in Horizon 5. These are organised by manufacturer and it's easy to filter the choices by pressing the Y button. Literally everything available is here, as long as you have the credits. When you choose a car as well, it will give you the option to choose a custom paint scheme made by the community.

But wait, there's more!

Finally, you also have both Car Pass and Car Packs. Car Pass and Car Packs allow you to get more exclusive cars and vehicles that haven't been released to the wider public yet. However, the downside is that this will cost you money, real world money.

NOT CHEAP: These methods require you to spend some real-world money

Of course, you can pay to play here, but if you want to enjoy the journey more, we recommend earning credits rather than spending your Pounds and Dollars on these cars.
