Forza Horizon 5 has nearly 1 million players and it's not even reached its full release date yet.
Not everyone who wants to play FH5 can afford that early access edition though. With the full release tomorrow, there is a way for Game Pass players to land in Mexico early.
Thanks to a staggered worldwide rollout, Xbox players can join the Horizon festival a little early. It's risky though.
Forza Horizon 5 roll out
The early access roll out for Forza Horizon 5 was staggered around the world. New Zealand got the game 11 hours before Europe, and it will be the same with the Standard Edition and Game Pass.
As you can see above, the game unlocks at 12:01am locally, but taht means New Zealand players get the game a full 11 hours ahead of those in the UK.
Unless they use this trick.
Xbox location change
If you're an Xbox player, you can change your console location which will allow you to get in early.
If you go to your Xbox settings, select System -> Language & location you can change your Xbox location to New Zealand, and start playing from 11am GMT.
While this should work for players to get going in Mexico today, it comes with risks.
A post on the Forza Discord server states that you can be banned for exploiting this trick. A 30-day ban is certainly a big risk for just 13 hours of even earlier access. We leave it up to you to decide if it's worth it or not.
