Forza Horizon 5 Reaches Incredible Player Count

Forza Horizon 5's player count has reached an incredible milestone this month. Almost three years after its original release, Forza Horizon 5 is still one of the most popular racing games on the market.

Playground Games will no doubt be proud of this achievement as their hard work producing regular and meaningful updates for Forza Horizon 5 is paying off.

As a screenshot posted by X user Klobrille shows, Forza Horizon 5 has reached a staggering 40 million players since it launched in 2021.

That leaderboard ranks all of the players that have picked up Forza Horizon 5 and 40 million is a massive total. How has Forza achieved this, though?

Regular updates to Forza Horizon 5 have definitely helped, but the biggest factor is down to the Xbox Game Pass.

Game Pass subscriptions are very high, allowing users to be able to play first-party Xbox Game Studios games at no extra cost. Naturally, Forza Horizon 5 is one of these titles.

Keep in mind that this only reflects Forza Horizon 5's lifetime player count, rather than how many players have played it in 2024. Players need to download the game and launch it at least once to make it onto the leaderboard.

With Forza Horizon 5 still breaking player records, fans are eagerly awaiting news on Forza Horizon 6, which has yet to be officially announced.
