A new series of Forza Horizon 5 is here. The Upgrade Heroes Summer Festival Playlist starts today, bringing some incredible new cars to win and a fresh set of challenges to complete. One of this week’s reward cars has been particularly sought after by the community, but you only have one week to claim it.

Forza Horizon 5 Upgrade Heroes Summer
Forza Horizon 5 Upgrade Heroes kicks off on 22 June at 3:30pm BST / 10:30am ET. This season lasts for seven days, ending on 29 June 3:30pm BST / 10:30am ET.
Upgrade Heroes is all about tuner cars. There’s also a new test track map location where you can test car upgrades and a new HiLow Horizon Story starring the hosts of Donut Media. You can find out more details in the Upgrade Heroes update patch notes here.
Summer’s star car is undoubtedly the highly requested Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, unlocked at 20 points. This savage beast packs a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 720 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque.
This combined with an aggressive aero enables the Black Series to rocket from 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds. You only have one week to claim AMG’s track weapon. You can also win the racy Lynk & Co 03+ electric saloon at 40 points.
Points earned in each festival playlist count towards unlocking the Pagani Huyara BC (80 points) and #64 Nissan Z (160 points) at the end of the season.
Reward cars
Completing The Trial unlocks the Mclaren 650S, while winning the Seasonal Championships earns you the Honda S2000 and 1971 Nissan GT-R. You can also win the 2018 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S in the Horizon Open event.
Completing the HiLow Horizon Story also unlocks the Nissan 350Z Low Car and Nissan 350Z Low Car made famous in Donut Media. This Horizon Story will be available throughout the season, but you only have one week to collect the other reward cars.
In addition to new cars, you can collect two Super Wheelspins in the main Festival Playlist as well as a Donut Media Mo Powa Baby Car Horn in the EventLab event.
Expansion rewards
If you own the Rally Adventure expansion, you can win a bonus reward car: the Renault 5 Turbo is the prize car for completing the Seasonal Championship. You can also get a Super Wheelspin by completing the Danger Sign challenge.
Another Super Wheelspin can be won in the Hot Wheels Expansion Speed Trap challenge along with a Hot Wheels Orange Hoodie for your avatar.
Photo Challenge: #ShootingStars
This week’s ShootingStars Photo Challenge requires you to photograph the 2013 Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG at Star 27’s Mural in Mulege. Completing this challenge wins you the Star 27 Jumper for your avatar.
Treasure Hunt: In Focus
There’s another Treasure Hunt to conquer this week. Thankfully, you don’t have to do any Pathfinder challenges this time, but you still have a riddle to solve. The clue is: “Surely you can’t afford to miss this photo opportunity.”
