Welcome to Mexico! It's time to turn our attention to PR stunts in Forza Horizon 5.
Which cars are dominating the leaderboards early on?
PR Stunts
There's five types in Forza Horizon 5. The PR Stunts this time around are Speed Traps, Speed Zones, Danger Signs, Drift Zones, and Trailblazers. If you haven't played Forza Horizon before, here's a quick primer.
Speed Traps are exactly as you'd expect. You need to go as fast as possible past a speed camera. Like with all PR Stunts, there's a star rating for each one. Hover over it on the map to see the target speeds.
Speed Zones measure your average speed between two points. You'll need to stay on the road, as cutting corners results in the dreaded "failed" notice. Interestingly, the game measures the average speed of your car rather than calculating it based on the time between the points, so taking a wide line through corners and maintaining speed is usually advantageous!

Danger Signs are jumps. You're awarded stars based on how far you fly. Be aware that you do need to land nicely! Hitting a tree or ending up upside down will both result in stunt being failed.
Drift Zones reward you for drifting through the corners. Points are based on your speed and angle. Like with a speed zone, you need to stay on the road.
Trailblazers are all about finding the quickest route from the start to the finish. Again, you're rewarded stars. You can take any route you like for these, you just need to get to the destination as fast as possible!
Which cars are the best for which stunts?
So far there appears to be a clear winner for outright speed. The Koenigsegg Jesko is dominating the speed traps across the map. With the right tuning, this car can achieve over 300 mph. This also makes it one of the best for Danger Signs.
This car doesn't have the best grip though. For Speed Zones on tarmac, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Forza Edition appears to be the quickest when there are tricky corners.
Off-road, our old favourite the Hoonigan RS200 still looks to be super fast in the bends.
Trailblazers and Drift Zones are seeing a much bigger range of cars on the leaderboards at the moment. For Trailblazers, that's probably a reflection of the different strategies players can employ when choosing their route. With Drift Zones, it doesn't appear that any one car enjoys a distinct advantage yet. If could be that the Formula Drift cars come to the fore!
