Forza Horizon 5 will have a huge range of environments across its world. We're looking forward to getting stuck in and seeing what Mexico has to offer! But when will we get the full reveal of the Horizon 5 map?
The map release
We are expecting to see our first glimpse of the full Forza Horizon 5 map on Monday during the Let's Go! stream. Playground Games creative director Mike Brown let this slip during the last episode, though there has as yet been no confirmation.
What we do know is that the area is 50% larger than the Great Britain of Forza Horizon 4. It will contain more roads than ever before, as well as the longest highway of any Horizon game. The volcano will be the highest altitude of any Forza game too!
Off-road enthusiasts need not worry though. Mexico will still feature many dirt routes across its eleven distinct biomes.
The Horizon Festival
Forza Horizon 5 will feature several Horizon Festival locations. We've learned about one of them so far: Horizon Apex. Apex will be focused on performance street cars and road racing.
This suggests to us that there will be specific festival locations for each race type. In Forza Horizon 4 these were road racing, dirt racing, cross country, street scene, and the drag strip.
What we know so far
We've actually seen a substantial amount of the Horizon 5 world through trailers and previews. This means that some players have tried to piece together the parts of the jigsaw!
Reddit user Cammas9 created this map from taking note of the details shown in the various preview clips:

Time will tell how accurate this guess is. We'd be surprised if Playground Games don't have something up their sleeves to wow us with when the real map is revealed!
