It’s that time of the month again for Forza Horizon 5 fans. Forza Horizon 5’s new series is just around the corner, with the Modern Horizons (Series 35) set to start later this week.

The new series will be previewed later today in Playground Games’ Let’s ¡GO! stream. Before then, Playground Games is teasing a “highly requested” car for the next series update.

Playground Games has already confirmed the first new-to-Forza car coming in the next series update in a video thumbnail for the live stream.

The thumbnail for the live stream prominently features the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, confirming that Forza Horizon 5 players can win the electric hot hatch in an upcoming festival playlist during the Modern Horizons series. It joins other Hyundai N cars in Forza Horizon 5 including the i30 N, Kona N, and the N Vision 74 introduced in the recent Horizon Retrowave series.

Based on the standard Ioniq N, Hyundai N’s first all-electric car combines engaging driving dynamics with a futuristic design and two electric motors producing a staggering 641 hp combined. This power is enough to propel you from 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and onto a top speed of 162 mph.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N will be a new reward car in the Modern Horizons series update, but Playground Games hasn't confirmed which week it will be available. It will either be a weekly prize car for completing festival challenges or a series progress car at the end of the series.

A “highly requested” car will also debut in the Modern Horizons series, but it's not clear if this refers to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N.

Fans are hoping this means the Maserati MC20 is coming to Forza Horizon 5 after the two-seater sports car was notably absent in the Italian Automotive series. Considering it started production in 2020, the MC20 would certainly fit the modern car theme in the next series.

Alongside new cars, the Modern Horizons update will also bring new events, EventLab props, and a new collectible. More will be revealed in today’s Let’s ¡GO! stream at 9 am PST / 5 pm BST.
