June is the month of Le Mans and Forza Motorsport is celebrating with a new set of endurance races in Featured Events. Now players, can strap themselves in for a long stint of racing.
Let's look at what June is offering in the Featured Multiplayer and Rival Events in Forza Motorsport.
Featured Events
Forza Motorsport's Featured Events are split into two main categories. Featured Multiplayer Events contain both Open and Spec Series, while Featured Rivals include Rival Events in dedicated cars around specified tracks.
Open Series allows players to bring their own wheels to the track, with upgrades and tuning encouraged. Spec Series, on the other hand, levels the playing field by putting all racers in the same car. These have all been tuned by the Forza team to provide the best racing possible.
Let's see what Forza Motorsport has in store this month.
The long haul
Update 9 has arrived in Forza Motorsport, with June being Endurance Month in the track racer. A new endurance car has been added to the game, along with two new track configurations to race around.
The phenomenal 2024 Porsche #5 Porsche Penske Motorsport 963 joins Forza Motorsport's extensive car list. Along with the Porsche, the Sebring International Raceway joins the game's track list, home of the famous 24 Hours of Sebring race.
That increases the number of endurance tracks, perfect for the theme for June. A host of new endurance events are also included for players to take part in, as well as a brand-new Featured Tour.
Featured Tour: Endurance Tour
Endurance racing is always at the bleeding edge of racing technology, and that's well represented in the latest Featured Tour in Forza Motorsport. All cars shown in the Endurance Tour were once technological marvels in their own right.
Unlike previous Featured Tours, players compete in two car classes per series. Each series features a short spotlight race before players strap in for a longer 45-minute stint for the second event.
The Endurance Tour starts with the Pinnacle Endurance. This puts players behind the wheel of the 2017 Porsche #92 Porsche GT Team 911 RSR for the short race at Sebring, before hopping the Pond to Silverstone for a longer race in the 2017 Porsche #2 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid.
Things then hop back in time to the Retro Endurance. Starting off with a blast around Watkins Glen in the 1991 Mazda #62 Mazda Motorsport RX-7, the series then switches to Road America for a race in the 1992 Toyota #99 All American Racers Toyota Eagle Mk III.
The tour then goes global, with the Global Endurance series celebrating the best the world has to offer. Germany kicks things off, with the 2018 Audi #1 Audi Sport RS 3 LMS being the car of choice around Brands Hatch. After that, it's time to see what Japan has to offer around Kyalami in the 1992 Toyota #99 All American Racers Toyota Eagle Mk III.
Finally, the Endurance Tour ends with some Classic Endurance. A vintage tour of the Nordschleife in the 1965 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe is then followed up with charging around Daytona in the 1963 Shelby Monaco King Cobra.
Players have until July 24 to complete the Endurance Tour. Those who do complete all four series will unlock the 1988 Nissan #24 Nissan Motorsports International R88C.
