Gran Turismo 7: 5 best cars to buy with your one million credits

Gran Turismo 7 players have logged on today and found a pleasant surprise waiting for them. Every player on GT7 has been rewarded with a one million credit present in their garage.

The reason behind this is the prolonged outage that was experienced during update 1.08. Update 1.09 has seen this one million credits given to all players, but what should you do with the money?

Well, we've got a few suggestions, as there are some expensive and very quick cars you can buy for that kind of money. We'll be heading to Brand Central to get the most bang for our in-game bucks. Here are five of our picks!

Ford GT Race Car

When it comes to sports car racing, few names are more famous than the Ford GT. The GT is a legend of Le Mans and endurance racing on the whole. Its 2018 version is available in Gran Turismo 7 for a cool one million credits.

While that obviously takes up your whole budget, you're getting a lot for your money here. With a PP of over 700, this car also offers over 500 BHP in power from a turbocharged engine.

At only 1,200 kg in weight too, it's very nimble in the corners too.

SF19 Super Formula

Whoever said that this list had to have cars that were road legal? While Gran Turismo 7 doesn't have any Formula 1 cars, it does have the next best thing, Super Formula cars.

These open-wheel formula cars are used in Japan's Super Formula Championship, one of the fastest in the world. Both the Toyota and Honda versions of the car from 2019 are available.

Both cost the full one million, but you get a lot for that. At just 660 kg heavy, it's extremely light and with aerodynamic wings, slick tyres and a turbocharged engine, it's one of the fastest cars in the game.

Audi R18

Speaking of high-end racing cars, you can get another European endurance racer in GT7 for one million credits. The Audi R18 from 2016 is one of the most-successful endurance racers ever.

For a start, look at it, it's a thing of beauty.

When you add in the 506 BHP turbocharged engine, and its light 875 kg chassis, you're onto a winner. This all means that it's got a PP of over 900, one of the highest in the game.

If you've got an endurance race coming up, we can think of little better than the R18 to get a good result!

Lambo V12 VGT

You can't have a list of expensive supercars without heading to Italy. Lamborghini have really entered the space age with their Lambo V12 VGT. For a start, just look at this monster, it looks as though it should be able to fly!

The V12 VGT unsurprisingly has a V12 engine, which produced 774 BHP. In a car that weighs just 819 kg, that means it almost has a 1:1 power-weight ratio. It's little wonder that it has a PP of over 800, not much can even get close to this!

Jaguar VGT SV

Oh, you thought the Lamborghini was bonkers? You've seen nothing yet.

The Jaguar VGT SV has a PP of over 1,000. That tells you all you need to know, but if you're still not convinced, here are some more stats. It's a little on the heavy side at 1,400 kg, but more than makes up for it with over 1,800 BHP.

Oh, and it achieves all of this while being an electric vehicle. So, you can tear up the track all while not harming the planet.

The VGT SV will take up all of your one million credit budget, but it's more than worth the price tag!
